Barry Bonds was bad for baseball. So was Mark McGuire.
What is the difference between Bonds and McGuire?
McGuire did not lie under oath about using performance enhancing drugs. Bonds did.
Apparently, so did Houston Astros shortstop, Miguel Tejada.
SI.com is reporting the FBI is now investigating Tejada for perjury charges. It looks like they have proof to go along with the accusation.
Jon Heyman writes, “According to the Mitchell Report, former teammate Adam Piatt provided checks signed by Tejada for what Piatt said was a steroid buy.”
Good luck on trading him, Astros. Nobody takes a man with a past. Well, with the exception of the Yankees.
