The LA Dodgers have made an offer to the all-times saves leader, Trevor Hoffman.
MLB.com reports it is a one year deal with an option for 2010 worth more than the $4 million the San Diego Padres offered him. Just as it was rumored CC Sabathia wanted to go to the West Coast, so the rumors are flying about Hoffman since his home is in Anaheim.
The Milwaukee Brewers are still in the mix as well, with the manager, Ken Macha, placing a call to the closer pretty much kissing up to him.
The two teams are in the lead for Hoffman.
