Trevor Hoffman has chosen the Milwaukee Brewers to be the team he pitches for in 2009.
The contract is set for Hoffman to get $6 million in 2009 “with up to $1.5 million in incentives based on games finished, beginning with No. 38 and ending with 52”, as reported by MLB.com.
Good golly! $2 million whole dollars more.
Yeah I know. To us little people that’s a lot. To a baseball player, it’s chump change.
Hey Hoffman, let’s see how many save opportunities you get with a team that is without CC Sabathia and Ben Sheets.
Good luck with that!
