Prayers With Zimmer

By / January 18, 2009 / Uncategorized

Back in December, Tampa Bay Rays senior baseball advisor, Don Zimmer suffered a stroke.

Don’t think for a minute that will stop him from doing his job. At 78, he’s a tough old coot.

He described what happened on MLB.com. It happened on his wife’s birthday. Mrs. Zimmer must be traumatized right now. No, it is not a joke. I am being very serious. Serious situations like that do traumatize a person.

He’s hoping to be ready for Spring Training.

My Prayers go out to Zim and his Family. Zimmer was a Brooklyn Dodger and also was with the 62 Mets. He has always been a class act and i for one is rooting for him to comeback asap to Tampa and all of baseball.
