Manny Receives Second Offer

LA Daily News is reporting the LA Dodgers have made a second offer to Manny Ramirez. It is reportedly a one-year deal for $25 million.

I think this is as good as the Manny camp is going to get. It is being reported by other sites the San Francisco Giants could also be pursuing him. I just do not think they have the funds to do it, especially with Barry Zito’s contract.

Manny, I suggest you sign. The New York Mets are not going to be making any offers to you.

Scott Boras is not going to get any new clients if he keeps getting his players signed to contracts well below his asking price. Maybe he’s living in Manny’s parallel universe where there are no problems with the economy.
