Sometimes You Just Have To Trust Management

By / February 9, 2009 / Offseason

The St. Petersburg Times is reporting Tampa Bay Rays reliever, Chad Bradford, had arthroscopic surgery and will miss 3-4 months.

Supposedly he began to feel pain during the World Series. After an MRI which revealed nothing, the Rays thought he would be fine with rest.

They were wrong. He began to feel discomfort again and there was swelling when he began his conditioning program in January.

Troy Percival could also be starting the season on the DL.

It’s a good thing the Mets did not make that trade with the Rays which would have sent Aaron Heilman to Florida.
