Adam Dunn and the Washinton Nationals have agreed to terms with a two year, $20 million deal, according to Ken Rosenthal on FoxSports.com.

Reports indicate he will be playing first base for the Nats, a place he does have experience playing with the Cincinnati Reds and the Arizona Diamondbacks.

I’m really surprised he signed with the Nats. All indications were that he had no interest playing for a losing team, but I guess priorities can change once you’re still unsigned just days before spring training begins. I commend the Nats for being willing to spend to get better, not like some other teams.

I’m not too surprised. The Nats were willing to shell out money to bring Teixeira to their team. Dunn just came cheaper for them. I’m happy for them. It would be nice to see them finish in second place. Mets, Nats, Phils, Braves, Marlins. That’ll shut the Marlins’ prez up. lol
