We’ve all been wondering who are the remaining 103 names on the steroid list that A-Rod was found on.
Names are being thrown around left and right. I’ve even heard Mike Piazza’s name being mentioned. Crazy, I know.
Here’s a name that I never really thought about, but is being mentioned: Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez.
There’s an article done by the Associated Press which was posted on ESPN.com where it can be read like a confession from him that at one time or another he did use.
When he was asked if his name was on the list, he answered with a quiet:
“Only God knows!”
Huh? How could that be? I think you would know if you tested positive or not on a steroid test. Hmm.
Jose Canseco claims he injected the 14-time All Star with the drugs. Canseco seems to be the honorable guy.
On the claims made by A-Rod that back then it was the culture, Pudge continued on saying:
“It happened and everybody has to move forward.”
Pudge has 13 Gold Gloves (1992-2001, 2004, 2006, 2007), a career numbers of .301 BA, and .475 SLG.
From 1998-2000 he was batting over .300 and slugging over .500. In 2000 alone, he was slugging .667 and hit .347 over the season.
Guilty or not guilty? You make the decision for yourself. Personally, sounds like there may only be 102 names left we do not know about.
