I think that about sums up every Mets fans feelings towards the 2009 New York Mets.

I am highly disgusted with David Wright. If I have to hear, “We have to just figure out a way to get it done” on more time, I’ll kill him.

I’ve had it. There is no possible way for me to defend this team anymore.

There is no more saying, “It’s only April”. If that’s your thinking, I feel sorry for you. These games are costing the Mets all their chances to make it to the playoffs.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to climb your way back in the NL East division?

The Mets were handed two walks by Matt Lindstrom in the ninth inning. Wright comes to the plate and what does he do? What he does best lately! He strikes out looking!

There’s something you did not expect.

Then Jerry Manuel chooses to pinch hit Omir Santos in place of Ramon Castro who had two hits and and RBI. Why? Because “he has a shorter swing“.

How did that work out for you Jerry?Do tell!

That move did not look so great from where I was sitting.

The Marlins were bobbling the ball left and right to no avail. They practically gift-wrapped the game to the Mets. Nothing!

Then our new-and-improved bullpen comes in starring JJ Putz and what do you think happens?

Did he strike down the Marlins hitters one-two-three?

Oh no! Heaven forbid! That would be only too easy.

Putz went “kaputz” by walking the first two batters which would come around to eventually score the Marlins’ winning runs.

This is disgusting, sickening and pathetic!

The Mets are just sloppy. They’re as bad as their Triple-A affiliate, the Buffalo Bisons.

I left the stadium today thinking that it is high time that Mets fans took matters into their own hands.

I have a few ideas.

don’t forget another poor performance of leaving men in scoring position…but that’s a common theme.

Especially with David Wright. This boy needs to figure out what his problems are and fix them quick. Otherwise, just forfeit the season.

K-Wright Strikes Again!

Strikes out in a clutch spot. Hits into a double-play in a clutch spot. Makes a huge error that Santana BRILLIANTLY works around. Just terrible.

It seemed like today we had 4 guys on the team. Tatis, Cora, Castro, and Santana. Tatis had a great game. Cora did what had to be done. Castro got the hits and was wrongfully pulled out of the game and Santana was, well, everything he is said to be and even got two-sac bunts down to try and help his own cause.

Notice the guys I mentioned, guys who are playing once every 5 days. I think it is obvious what to do. Sac the team. Santana, though, is a machine and proving why he is the best at what he does. I mean, he gives you 7 innings of 2 run ball and you STILL can’t win? Forget it. If he were playing for the Cardinals he would be 5-0 at this point. This is all wrong.

Wouldn’t we all love that? You can’t just drop an entire team. I do think Minaya really needs to pick up a bat and at least a starting pitcher before this deadline comes.
