Perez Has Excuse

This poor pathetic soul! Take it like a man, Perez!

So now Oliver Perez is telling reporters that are asking him if he will accept the assignment to the minors:

I can’t say yet.

Are you kidding me? This is a joke, right?

When he was asked why he’s changing his mind from last night, he told the New York Post:

I was frustrated. Every pitcher can say that, because that was a tough day for me and I can say anything. Today, I feel a little more relaxed.

You aren’t “every pitcher” Perez. You aren’t even a good pitcher.

That’s not all. The Post continued to say now Perez, instead of going to the minors to actually do some work, he will go on the DL because all of a sudden he has a sore knee that he suddenly aggravated yesterday after a pitiful performance.

Oh my God! Somebody kill him before I do.

This guy is acting like he actually has a right to something. Perez lost his rights when he went to the WBC and came back a pitching slob.

Give me ten minutes with him! As God as my witness I’ll have him straightened out.

The Mets signed him because he is great against the Phillies. He dropped the ball. Now it’s time for the Mets to drop him.

rest isn’t going to fix him. pitching too little is one reason he got into this mess in the first place. pitching under the covers in buffalo will get him straightened out.

who’s running this ballclub anyway?

if he’s lazy and doesn’t want to take the steps to fix himself, then the Mets should release him and admit a mistake in signing him. i know the union wouldn’t let that happen, and that’s a shame.
