Putz Is Hurt

By / June 4, 2009 / Uncategorized

No kidding! I have said a hundred times that he is hurt.

Mechanical flaw my foot!

J.J. Putz  is heading back to New York to receive and MRI.

He may require surgery on his elbow to remove the bone spur that has been pestering him. It was a reason he missed a couple of games last month and received cortisone shots for.

According to the New York Post the surgery Putz was going to have after the season was over is going to be moved up.

There’s a genius idea! Too bad it came so late.

Have the surgery now. He’s no help to the Mets right now. Putz is just helping the other teams by handing them runs on a silver platter. Bobby Parnell can handle the work.

The Mets can also bring up Nelson Figueroa. The way Tim Redding has been pitching lately, I would rather see him in the bullpen and Figueroa in the rotation.

How do you do it ? You called this so long ago ! You knew Putz was hurt and lo and behold Putz is going under the knife. Mets need to let him get well and 100%. I like to have a healthy Putz down the wire of the season.
