Here It Is In Black and White

By / July 21, 2009 / Media, Rumors

Jon Heyman is the only one reporting this deal with between the Mets and Blue Jays that could have brought Roy Halladay to the Mets.

Well the drama is finally over. Kevin Burkhardt of SNY, ESPN’s Keith Law and Matthew Cerrone of Metsblog.com have all verified the story Heyman reported is false. No such talk happened.

The only discussions that happened earlier in July was possibilites of which Jays’ players would be available. No Mets players were discussed.

They believe this story was fed to bring up the price for Halladay. Just another tactic to get other teams into this. There is a deadline for when the Jays’ can trade him. Personally, I do not see him being traded before the deadline.

You can believe it or not. That is up to you.
