More Citi Field Improvements

I have to say I wonder if the Mets read my site. I have been dead set against the Mets lowering the walls in the outfield. If the Mets players cannot hit home runs, then something should be done about Howard Johnson. After all, he is the hitting coach.

Why anyone would want to lower those walls when opponents come in and knock them out of the park like it is Citizen’s Bank Park is beyond me. They may as well call the Pepsi Porch, the Ryan Howard Porch. Are you kidding me?

In other Citi Field news, the Mets have announced that more bricks will be added to the Fan Walk along the first and third base side of the rotunda. That is BIG and great news for me since I missed out on the initial chance. You can begin to purchase your bricks tomorrow, September 4th. Visit the Mets website for more information.

Proceeds from the Walk will be donated to the Mets Foundation.

The Mets Organization should really contemplate adding the names of every Mets player in the team on the bricks leading into CitiField. Since their opponents walk all over the team why not have their fans do the same.
