Citi Field Tours A Reality

By / May 13, 2010 / Uncategorized

The New York Mets have made the tours official. You can go behind the scenes of Citi Field and see things that only season ticket holders got to see.

According to the press release, you can tour the press box and productions areas (which is my area of general interest), visit the Empire and Sterling Suites, step onto the field on the warning track (weather permitting), visit the Bullpen, take photos in the Mets Dugout, and see the Mets Clubhouse. The one-hour tour will conclude at the Mets Hall of Fame & Museum.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for children. The tours begin Saturday, May 29th. If you have a group, you can tour a day earlier. Tours are only for the weekends. Thursdays and Fridays for groups. Saturdays and Sundays for singles and are available from 11am to 2pm. The tours depart every 30 minutes.
