Move Prompts Promotion

With the use of Hisanori Takahashi in tonight’s game, it appears Pat Misch will be the pitcher for Saturday’s game against the Philadelphia Phillies.

How do we feel about this? How do we feel anytime we have to face the Phillies with the season on the line? It does not matter who the pitcher is.

Adam Rubin from ESPN New York reports the pitcher was pulled during his start in Triple-A. He only threw 55 pitches and they believe he can pitch on short rest. This does not bode well with me. I guess you have to do what you have to do. Go grab your tums. The kid has an ERA of 3.23 with 96 K’s in 22 games. He is 10-4. Mike Pelfrey is the only pitcher on our current staff with a double digit winning record.

We hope this kid provides the lift the Mets need.
