Carter Shirt To Support Cancer Research

By / June 7, 2011 / Uncategorized

It is no secret that former New York Mets catcher, Gary Carter, is battling stage four brain cancer. As he has begun his radiation treatment, fans everywhere have shown their support through letters, blogs, radio stations and Facebook. The outpouring of love for this former ’86 player has been nothing short of amazin’.

It continues on as I type this blog.

Well two sites have joined forces to truly step up and show support in more ways than one. The 7 Line and Kerel Cooper from On The Black have created a t-shirt that will help support cancer research and show support to Gary Carter during his fight against brain cancer.

A portion of the proceeds, $20, will go to support either the Gary Carter Foundation or the American Cancer Society. The shirts are currently only available for pre-sale through June 21.

So head on over the The 7 Line cartel and order your shirt now and help make a difference in the lives of so many while supporting a man who helped to create some of the best memories for Mets fans everywhere. As a person who has seen a number of people suffer from different forms of cancer in her family, this touches close to home and hopes you all will support this great cause.

To The Kid,

Get well soon. You have our undying support through this difficult time.

With Love,

Mets fans everywhere
