There are so many ways to describe Mets pitcher, Noah Syndergaard. You can say he’s masterful. Maybe say he is a part of the elite pitchers. With a 2.19 ERA this season, you can say he is the ace of the starting rotation.
ESPN.com Senior Writer, Jayson Stark, was on Mike & Mike Wednesday to talk baseball. Here’s what he had to say about Mets starting pitcher, Noah Syndergaard.
He is just a freak. He’s thrown 46 pitches this year at 100 mph or better. All other starting pitchers combined have thrown five. And you could argue that the fastball isn’t even his best pitch against his slider, which is 95 miles an hour. Hitters are hitting .151. That comes to 55 misses and eight hits just against that pitch.
